Q: What is the Resto Expo?
A: It’s a huge ‘Show n Shine’ of restored old dirt bikes for the Restorers to bring out their works of ‘Moto-Art’ so the rest of us can appreciate and enjoy them. It’s a social get together for the Vintage Dirt Bike community to kick off the new season. It’s a Swap Meet, It’s Riverbank Camping. It’s a ride on a Cruisy Grass Track. Most of all, it’s a whole lot of fun!
Q: Where do I buy tickets?
A: You go to the Tickets Page on this website to buy tickets.
Q: If I just want to come and have a look can I pay on the day?
A: Yes, you are more than welcome. The more the merrier. In the ticket section there are ‘Day Ticket’ options
Q: Does my wife have to pay?
A: Yes, each adult will be charged. Partners at discounted rates. We have to pay the land owners for each visitor.
Q: I’ve booked a riverbank campsite, does that mean anyone camping with me gets in for free?
A: No, the campsite fee only covers the campsite. Everyone must still purchase a ticket to attend.
Q: Is Beer on sale at the Expo?
A: No, the Expo is BYO for all alcoholic drinks.
Q: Where is the Resto Expo being held?
A: The Expo is being held at Dargle Waterski Park at 312 River Rd Lower Portland NSW 2756.
Q: Is the Expo open for early arrivals Friday?
A: Yes the Expo will be open Friday from 10.00am for early arrivals. You will need to have purchase a Friday arrival ticket to be admitted.
Q: Are the tracks for riders of Exhibition bikes only or can we bring our other bikes to ride?
A: You can bring and ride any bike you like as long as it is a 02 model or older dirtbike.
Q: Can I bring my late model bikes to the Expo?
A: The Expo is restricted to Pre-02 and older bikes. Newer bikes can not be put on show or ridden.
Q: Can I show my road bikes at the Expo?
A: No road bikes will be permitted to go on show. The Resto Expo is for old dirt bikes only.
Q: Is there any racing at the Expo?
A: No, absolutely not. This is a recreational weekend only.
Q: Is there somewhere to shower?
A: Yes a short walk away there is a large amenities block with nice hot showers.
Q: Will there be food available to purchase?
A: Yes there will be food and coffee on sale both days.
Q: What happens if it rains?
A: The Expo will go on regardless of the weather.
Q: What time can I get there Friday Night?
A: Gates close strictly at 10pm Friday night.
